Information the app collects

Version 1.0 does not collect personal data, analytics, advertising identifiers, or tracking data. It does not contain advertising, analytics, sign-in, in-app payment, or subscription systems.

Apple or Google processes any store purchase under that store's terms and privacy policy. The app does not receive payment-card information.

Information stored on your device

Home Base preferences, lesson checkmarks, practice progress, practice scores, grocery-list items, and optional reminder choices are stored locally on your device. We do not receive that information.

Deleting the app, clearing its website data, or replacing the device may remove it. Version 1.0 does not synchronize this information between devices.

Notifications and sharing

The app requests notification permission only after you choose to set a daily safety reminder. Your operating system schedules that reminder on your device. You can turn it off in the app or in Settings.

The app can open the system sharing menu after you choose Share. Information goes only to the person or service you select and is handled by that destination.

Outside services

Some buttons can open a curated outside website or app, such as Facebook or ChatGPT. The app identifies the destination and asks before leaving. Those services have their own privacy policies. Activity after you leave The Silver Signal is handled by that service and is not collected by this app.

Safety and sensitive information

The Silver Signal provides general education. Do not send passwords, one-time security codes, Social Security numbers, account numbers, medical details, or a real family safe word through any support channel.

The app is not an emergency service and does not provide individualized medical, legal, financial, account-recovery, or law-enforcement advice.

Children

The app is designed for a general audience, with an initial focus on older adults. It is not directed to children.

Changes and contact

If a later app version adds data collection, accounts, synchronization, analytics, or another networked service, this policy and the applicable app-store privacy disclosures will be updated before that version is released.

SUPPORT SETUP PENDING

A monitored support address has not been published. Do not send an authentication code, password, payment number, or identity document to an unverified address.
