What Signal Desk does now

Signal Desk combines fields entered by the signed-in user into a repeatable prompt and JSON package. It can copy or download that package. The same fields and settings produce the same local package; this is formatting, not AI inference.

The public Signal Desk page contains a static demonstration. It does not submit the demonstration text or generate a response.

Silver Signal Guide transmission boundary

The Guide implementation is separate from Signal Desk. When its account, entitlement, usage-ledger, budget, and provider gates are all enabled, an entitled member can review a visible harness and question, then authorize one request to QwenCloud. Up to six visible recent messages may be included for a follow-up. Nothing is sent merely by opening or typing on the page.

The Silver Signal endpoint is designed not to store prompt or answer text. Its operational ledger records a request identifier, account, processing level, model, token counts, outcome, and time so allowances and abuse can be managed. QwenCloud's published Chat Completions policy says API input and output are not persistently stored or used for model training. QwenCloud may log operational metadata such as request identifiers, timestamps, and token counts. The interface identifies the provider and model again before and after a request.

Device-local data is not synchronized or backed up by Silver Signal. It may remain after sign-out. Select Clear device datain Signal Desk or clear browser site data to remove it.

Copy and export boundary

Copying or downloading a package puts it under the user's control. If the package is pasted into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, a local model, an employer system, or another service, that service's terms and privacy practices apply. Silver Signal does not select that service or transmit the package to it.

Do not enter passwords, sign-in codes, complete payment numbers, private keys, medical records, or other secrets. Signal Desk is a local drafting utility, not a secrets vault.

Requirements before an AI provider is enabled

A provider-backed feature must not be described as active until the interface identifies the provider, data sent, purpose, retention, storage location, account controls, usage limits, and deletion method. The user must be able to review the package before transmission.

A future model response must remain reviewable output, not a medical, legal, financial, security, or emergency decision. See the privacy notice and account and data controls.

Safety and emergency limit

Signal Desk does not monitor a person, determine whether a person is safe, or contact emergency services. Do not use a prompt package or model output as an emergency response system. If someone may be in immediate danger, call 911 or the appropriate local emergency number.
