Technical learning gets easier when questions, unfinished work, and useful sources have somewhere to go. Silver Signal Community Tables are small, beginner-friendly gatherings planned for Discord.
The recurring rhythm is published now so people can plan. Each event becomes confirmed only when its Discord room link says OPEN. The six-week pilot may adjust its times after attendance and accessibility feedback.

One curriculum topic, one useful opening question, and room to follow every “What is ___?” detour that emerges.
GUIDED DISCUSSION
First Thursday ·
A relaxed conversation about one technical, historical, or human-impact topic, supported by a short primer and source list.
BUILD SHARING
Third Thursday ·
Show something unfinished, describe the obstacle, demonstrate a small success, and ask the room for one specific kind of feedback.
All website times use Pacific Time. Calendar applications should convert the downloaded recurring events to the device’s local time zone.
EVENTS + CURRICULUM / TWO-WAY CONNECTION
Unfamiliar terms raised at a table can become proposed wiki nodes, examples, or clearer explanations.
Every gathering begins from at least one curriculum node and ends with connected reading rather than an endless feed.
With permission, a shared project can later be attached to the relevant topic as a concrete example or case study.

Beginners may ask basic questions without apology.
Explain acronyms and link unfamiliar terms whenever possible.
Cameras are optional; listening and text participation both count.
Keep first comments under two minutes so more people can enter the conversation.
Build presenters name the kind of feedback they want before feedback begins.
No unsolicited selling, recruiting, private messaging, or investment promotion.
Do not record, screenshot, quote, or transcribe people without explicit permission.
Critique a claim or a build—not the person presenting it.
Founding tables are free. Membership may later support smaller cohorts or personalized tools, but at least one recurring open table should remain available to the public.
